"Fitspiration for Liberation" - High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Training Workout

Fitness Coach and Organizer Kaveria led a group of 10 in a 45 minute HIIT training workout at Lombard Commons Veteran's Memorial Park, Lombard, IL. There she educated local community members on an exercise technique known as High Intensity Interval Training. HIIT is a training technique that gets and keeps your heart rate up, therefore, allowing you to burn more fat and quicker than traditional cardiovascular or traditional exercises. Exercises were available for all levels of fitness: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The goal of this style of training is to keep moving through an interval of 5-8 exercises with short rest periods between each exercise and interval. During the workout Kaveria presented interesting facts about America's new holiday, Juneteenth, to the members. "Fitspiration for Liberation" HIIT workout had a purpose to educate the community on Liberation Day about Liberation Day through an event inspired by health and fitness expert Kaveria Lezza
